You Tube Sensation returns to Lincoln to welcome freshers


YouTube sensation and 2013 graduate Jack Howard came back to the University last month to welcome Freshers . Jack studied Media Production at Lincoln and was invited to judge this year’s LincDog event for new Media Production and Audio Production students. The event which is now in its fourth year attracted over 300 fresher’s.

The students had to plan, write and shoot a 1 minute video using their mobile phones responding to the brief: Making and impact. Entries were then screened at the LPAC that evening where Jack did a presentation, talked about his experience of Lincoln, gave advice and tips to the students and made the final decision on which group he thought were best.

Jack has just launched a new Youtube production ‘Project: Library’, in which he co-wrote, directed and stars in.

The 4 part mini-series follows Michael Foster, a young man who discovers he owes the local library a million pounds for an overdue book from 1989. He has to escape the clutches merciless library manager, Troy and his team of lethal librarians, all the while trying to find a way to pay off his massive debt.
