Top acting award for Dani

Dani Moseley (Media Production, 2007) was listed in the ‘Outstanding Guest Actress Award’ at the LA Web Series Festival 2013 for playing Simone in ‘Brothers With No Game.’

Dani said: “The first season was very popular and my character has been very well received, I get stopped in the street more for that than anything else and because it is online, it’s always something I can refer people to. They can watch it ‘instantly’ whereas TV has happened & gone.”

Since graduating Dani has appeared in many TV shows from The Bill to Eastenders. She has also set up a production company called Hiype Productions [Helping Inspire Young People Evolve], and co-written and co-directed a theatre production called ‘The Forty Elephants’ with her business partner Nadine Woodley.

Dani said: “The Forty Elephants’ aims to raise awareness about the seriousness behind girl gangs, whilst touching on young ethnic male achievers who are caught up in the media’s continual stigma of negative stereotyping.”

The play has been a huge success and she is now working on adapting it for the big screen.

Dani is also currently filming the second season of ‘Brothers with No Game’, which is due to be aired later this year.
